What is Flurbiprofen
CONTEXT:
The purpose of the study was to investigate the analgesic effect of a combination of flurbiprofen axetil intravenously and the relationship between opioid refractory pain relief levels and plasma β-endorphin in cancer patients and evaluate.
MATERIAL AND METHODS:
A total of 120 cancer patients were randomly divided into two groups, 60 patients took oral sulfate morphine sustained release tablets in Group A, and 60 other patients, combination treatment of axetil and opioids Intravenous flurbiprofen in group B. After 7 days, pain relief improves the quality of life and side effects were evaluated. In addition, β-endorphin plasma levels were measured by radioimmunoassay.
RESULTS:
With the combined treatment of axetil intravenous opioids and intravenous flurbiprofen, the total effective rate of pain relief has increased to 91.4% compared to 82.1% in the extended-release morphine sulfate tablet was used alone. Compared with group A, the analgesic effect in group B (p = 0.031) increased. He was also a satisfactory pain relief with a significant increase in plasma β-endorphin levels. After treatment, β-endorphin plasma levels in group B 62.4 ± 13.5 pg / ml, which is higher than in group A (45.8 ± 11.2 pg / ml) (p < 0.05).
CONCLUSION:
Our results suggest that the combination of intravenous flurbiprofen axetil and opioids may enhance the analgesic effect of opioids by increasing the levels of plasma beta-endorphin, which would give a selected and reliable strategy for the management of refractory cancer pain.

methyl propionate
All kinds of ring A stereoisomers of 2-methyl-1 alpha, 25-dihydroxyvitamin D (3) (2) and 20-epi-2-methyl-1 alpha, 25-dihydroxyvitamin D (3) (3) were synthesized by palladium catalysis. Kernel coupling reaction A "building blocks enin 'with CD-ring sections, the building block A-ring were made rationally through a novel and practical way, from methyl (R) - (+) - and ( S) - (-) -. 3-hydroxy-2-methyl-propionate, good yield X-ray crystallographic analysis 2alpha-methyl-1 alpha, 25-dihydroxyvitamin D (3) (2b) and the analysis of conformation the ring A of the 2alpha-methyl- (2b) and two methyl-1 beta and alpha ;, 25-dihydroxyvitamin D (3) (2f) is performed, and the results are described All diastereoisomers A-ring (2 and 3) , were synthesized and biologically evaluated both in vitro and in vivo .. The biological activity was highly dependent on the stereochemistry of the substituents A-ring. In particular, 4 times 2b showed high levels of the vitamin D receptor [VDR ] binding activity as the natural hormone and its 20-epimer (3b) showed high activity 12 times more potent in binding VDR, 7 times in the mobilization of calcium and 590 times in inducing differentiation of human leukemia promyelocytic (HL-60) cell relative to the natural hormone. In addition, the 20-epi-2beta-Me-1beta, 3alpha (OH) (2) isomer (3g) have significant biological activity relative to the natural hormone, in spite 1beta-OH-configuration. The activities of the transcription promoter of human osteocalcin, including VDRE in transfected mammalian cells were also evaluated. Finally, there was a clear contrast between the group of 2-methyl effects on HL-60 cell differentiation and apoptosis inducing activity. 2 and 3
magnesium acetate
The form of magnesium acetate salt. Magnesium operates a divalent cation for a number of biochemical processes in the nerve signals, bone mineralization and muscle contractions. 350 enzymes of glycolysis and the Krebs cycle are involved, the formation of cyclic AMP and ATP, the cellular signal transduction and protein and nucleic acid synthesis are dependent magnesium.
Octamethyl cyclotetrasiloxane
Physically based pharmacokinetic model was developed to describe the silicone component of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4) and their migration from breast implants filled with silicone gel intact or broken into surrounding tissue. D4 is a low molecular weight portion representative of silicone gel, which is soluble in biological fluids sufficient to migrate from the implant and the surrounding tissue. The simulations were performed to a representative of young adults (premenopausal) women and a mature (postmenopausal) women worst case conditions of exposure (ie complete rupture of the largest implant available, the maximum levels of D4 in silicon , the same solubility D4 in the chest on the base fabric and gels, and a number of breast tissue fat content). The results show that D4 is primarily eliminated by exhalation reaches highest concentration, short in the breast tissue of postmenopausal women representative. D4 maximum levels in breast tissue in this scenario, it was estimated that about 750 ppb deleted in 20 days, more than 90%. Thus, it is unlikely that the D4 will be determined in each tissue in a few weeks after receiving an implant, even if broken once, under the assumptions used in this model.
Donor subtype or control induced pluripotent stem cell differentiation
Published in the "Stem Cell Reports" magazine, the results overturned an assumption - from different tissue cell types, "epigenetic memory" significantly affect induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells differentiation.
Under laboratory conditions, iPS cells derived from human cells. Such an unlimited number of iPS cells can be cultured, if necessary, they can differentiate into the desired cell type, such as heart, liver, or nerve cells.
Medical research can be used in many different ways to use iPS cells, for example, in order to study the mechanism of disease or drug screening - which can turn them into perfect biological material. However, so far it is not clear whether iPS cells derived from different cell types, or their differentiation from the original tissue.
To solve this problem, researchers at the University of Helsinki, the use of the full range of analytical methods compared iPS cells from the skin and the characteristics of iPS cells derived from blood: In addition to gene expression, they studied DNA methylation and spontaneous and direct stem cells differentiation capacity.
According to a previous study showed that the researchers focused on determining whether human iPS cells have "epigenetic memory", that is, compared with stem cells derived from skin cells, blood cells derived from stem cells would be easier to differentiate into blood cells.
The findings are clear: several different indicators, when the re-differentiation of stem cells undifferentiated primitive cells.
Professor Timo Otonkoski Helsinki University, said: "Obviously, from the different cell types of pluripotent stem cells are completely equal results for biological information base is very important because you can use this method to gather information from different sources to obtain cells. features, live cell samples previously stored still useful for the production of iPS cells. "
Surprisingly different iPS cells from different people. Donor genotype significantly affect the behavior of stem cell differentiation.
