Process reversed phase (RP-HPLC) was established to determine arsanilic Sulphanilic and as an adulterant in food additives. The separation was performed on a Waters Bondapak C18 column and a methanol-water (pH 2.9 adjusted by adding 0.01 mol / l phosphoric acid) (1: 4, v / v) as mobile phase at a rate of flow 1, 0 ml used / min. A diode array detector was used at 244 nm as the detection wavelength. And arsanilic Sulphanilic were separated in 3 minutes. Linear ranges were 5 to 200 mg / L and the detection limit (S / N = 3) were 0.20 and 0.15 mg / L for arsanilic and sulfanilic acid, respectively. This method is simple and fast, and suitable for the simultaneous determination of arsanilic and Sulphanilic in food additives.
