Product description :Vemurafenib is a type of cancer treatment called a cancer growth blocker. Vemurafenib is given for melanomas that have a change (mutation) in a gene called BRAF. The change in this gene leads to the production of a changed (mutated) BRAF protein. This protein helps melanoma tumours grow.Vemurafenib blocks (inhibits) the changed BRAF protein, which can stop the melanoma cells from growing and dividing.
