Product Description: Selumetinib is an ATP-independent inhibitor of mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase (MAPK or MEK / ERK kinase) 1 and 2. MEK 1 and 2 are dual-specific kinases that the major mediators of Activation of RAS / RAF / MEK / ERK pathway are often in various upregulated cancerous cells and are the drivers of different cellular responses, including proliferation. Inhibition of MEK1 and 2 by Selumetinib prevents activation of 2-effector effectors and transcription factors, leading to inhibition of cell proliferation in various cancers.
