Product description:White crystal, 23 ℃ above colorless or slightly yellow liquid. The fennel aroma, has a sweet taste. With light, heat, air is perishable. Oxidation with KMnO4, generate acid in star anise (melting point 184 ℃). Freezing point 21 ~ 22 ℃ and 22.5 ~ 23 ℃ melting point, boiling point 234 ℃, flash point 92.2 ℃. And oil soluble in ethanol, slightly soluble in water, soluble in chloroform and ethyl ether, a few insoluble in glycerin and propylene glycol.
