The stability and compatibility of clindamycin phosphate and sodium ceftizoxime, sodium cefoxitin, cefamandole nafate or cefazolin sodium intravenous in two solutions were discussed. Each antibiotic alone and each of the four combinations of two drugs were studied as mixed injections in two 100 ml glass bottles with 5% dextrose and sodium chloride 0.9%. antibiotic concentration, pH and visual appearance were recorded at the time of preparation and at 1, 4, 8, 12, 24 and 48 hours.
