Daminozide (Alar, Kylar, B-NINE, DMASA, SADH, B 995) is a plant growth regulator, a chemical that is sprayed on fruits to regulate their growth, to facilitate their cultivation and to improve their color .
In addition to apples and ornamental plants, it has also been approved for use on cherries, peaches, pears, Concord grapes, tomato grafts and groundnut vines.
