The adrenal term antibody refers to a variety of auto-antibodies which are directed against the adrenal cortex, surrounds the outer fabric layer of each of the adrenal glands. adrenal antibodies are known as adrenocorticol antibodies or, more precisely, adrenocorticol autoantibodies (ACA) known. ACA destroy adrenal tissue, disrupting the production of hormones, adrenal damage by various proteins, particularly the 21-hydroxy-enzymes.
