What is SW13,and for sale
The cell line of human adrenal carcinoma, SW13, was reported both BRG1 and BRM deficient expression and therefore lacks a SWI / SNF complex functional. We found that the original is composed of SW13 cell line two subtypes, which is not yet BRG1 BRM (SW13 (VIM)) and the other expressing both (SW13 (vim +)) expresses. The presence of BRG1 and BRM SW13 correlates completely with the cell capacity, such genes, such as vimentin, collagenase, c-Met and CD44 expressed which is under the control of a transcription factor AP-1, which has previously been shown to require a functional complex SWI / SNF for its transactivation activity. Transitional treatment with histone deacetylase inhibitors to distinguish a stable transition SW13 (VIM) to a cell type induced SW13 (VIM +), suggesting that these two subtypes are different epigenetics. Run-on-analysis showed that, contrary to these four genes driven by AP-1 gene transcription and BRG1 BRM SW13 (VIM) can be initiated at a frequency comparable to SW13 (VIM +). In both cases SW13 (VIM) and SW13 (VIM +) cells were Brm BRG1 genes and transcribed by the entire gene with similar efficacy, indicating that their expression was completely suppressed at the post-transcriptional level SW13 (VIM) - cells. We suggest SW13 can spontaneously switch between two subtypes by changing the expression of BRG1 BRM and the post-transcriptional level.
