After intra-arterial administration of liver Holmium 166 microspheres, it means being able to both emit beta particles directly kill cells and gamma photons in nuclear medical imaging. Furthermore paramagnetic sinceholmium166, this imaging agent for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can be used.
