Erucyl Alcohol

A class of compounds, where a hydroxyl (OH) hydrocarbons of the related group is connected. Alcohols are classified according to the position of the carbon atom bonded to the hydroxyl group (I.S. alcohols primary alcohols having an OH group bonded to the primary carbon atom, C1). Applications include solvents, astringents and anti-infective activity.
